Pure. Electric. Fun.The new Chevy Spark EV: a car powered by electricity that moves like electricity. Obviously that offers a lot benefits -- and to demonstrate, Commonwealth Detroit and WoodShop broke down the Spark’s unique features in a series of fun animations. Round-trip commute on a single charge? Check. Complete re-charge while you sleep? Check. More torque than a Ferrari? Check. “Commonwealth asked us for something that would showcase the personality of owning a Chevy Spark EV in fun, informative way,” explains WoodShop Creative Director Trevor Shepard. “We worked with their team to create a look that embodied the personality of the car as well as break down some pretty cool facts about owning an electric car.” WoodShop focused on building a photoreal Spark that balanced a realistic looking vehicle in animated world. “One of the challenges of creating photoreal objects -- in this case, a car -- is building a world that compliments the design of the product at the focus of the story. I think we did a good job of building some clever and bold designs for the Spark EV to live alongside.”
