Soma Media has recorded more than 180 presentations from SIGGRAPH 2009, including talks and other key events. The end result is a Web site from which presentations can be purchased and downloaded individually and as a comprehensive DVD-ROM set, called SIGGRAPH Encore.
It includes:
- Presentations from Papers, Talks, Classes, Computer Animation Festival Talks* (*Depending on speaker participation)
- Over 180 presentations totaling more than 300 hours of content
- Synchronized presentation materials including slides, videos, and live demos
- Presentation abstracts and speaker bios
- iPod and iPhone compatible video files with iTunes metadata
Through August 31, 2009, the Conference Special price is $275 (post-conference price is $300).
New this year:
Soma Media is offering download access to presentations just 2 weeks after the Conference ends, so people gain early access to content while waiting for the DVD-ROM set. The DVD-ROM set arrives about 6 to 8 weeks after SIGGRAPH 2009 concludes. SIGGRAPH 2009 content will be available online by September 1.
SIGGRAPH Encore also includes content from SIGGRAPH 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007, and 2008.
