THU Announces Second Edition of Career Camp

THU Career Camp, one of the biggest online events focused on recruiting and mentoring, is back! It will take place on March 8-10, 2022.
Confirmed companies that will participate so far include Lucasfilm Animation, Nickelodeon Animation Studio, Industrial Light & Magic, Supercell, Axis, Frontier, Lightheart Entertainment, Platige Image, Skydance Animation, Polygon Pictures, Outfit 7, DNEG, Cloud Imperium Games, Atomhawk and La Tribu Animation, with more to be announced soon.

The event will feature the following activities:

Recruitment Sessions:
Interview slots where recruiters can get to know the attendees and see if they match their company's needs.

Mentorship and portfolio reviews:
Mentors look through tribe members' portfolios, using your knowledge to give them insights that can enrich and improve their work (group and individual).

Skill and Career Development Sessions: Talks given by mentors and recruiters, with Q&A, to help creators develop their careers and learn specific skills to enrich the community’s know-how.

Technical Tracks (new):
Workshops and tutorials designed to help creators improve their skills using the industry's most powerful tools.

Tribe Talks (new): The Tribe will be able to submit ideas for talks and get the chance to give one during the Camp.

Tickets for the Career Camp are free, and participants can get one by applying on THU’s website once applications open. If you have been to a THU Main Event or the previous edition of Career Camp, you are automatically entitled to two tickets: one for you and another for a plus one.

According to André Luis, CEO and co-founder of THU, “Career Camp may have started to help the Tribe during the pandemic, but it has become one of the most important projects for THU. It’s our human approach to networking and a tool that allows us to help creators all around the world, especially the ones who don’t have the resources to travel and access these kinds of opportunities.”
