'Encanto' Wins Golden Globe for Animation

Disney's Encanto received the 2022 Golden Globe Award in the Best Animated Feature Film category.
The recent Golden Globes presentation did not receive the usual fanfare that it had garnered in years past, as the ceremony was not broadcast and the awards presented not via livestream, but rather by online and social media posts. Nevertheless, the awards themselves are still meaningful and still served as a harbinger to that other big awards night, the Oscars.

The issues surrounding the event are with complaints over ethical and diversity issues lodged against the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA).
