Conductor announces Enterprise offering at SIGGRAPH 2022

Conductor Technologies today announced Conductor Enterprise, an advanced tier option of the multi-cloud platform for customers in media and entertainment. The new service offering will augment Conductor functionality with virtual render wrangling, extensive user management controls, custom encryption capabilities, bring your own license (BYOL) support, and other enhanced features. Conductor Enterprise is anticipated to launch as a closed beta in fall 2022, closely followed by a commercial release. “Conductor Enterprise brings users with frequent, large-scale render needs broader options for quickly integrating cloud-based flexibility into their workflows. It’s the culmination of extensive development based on user feedback and ultimately enables more comprehensive control over Conductor orchestration and IT automation so that studios can infinitely scale,” said Mac Moore, CEO, Conductor.

Key features of Conductor Enterprise include:
  • • Virtual wrangler – Automated render schedule and job state monitoring, and reactive management free up users to focus on more creative, less administrative tasks. Render jobs now automatically resync based on the programmed parameters when a problem arises, such as a failed instance or missing file, saving time and operational headaches.
  • • Extensive management console – Advanced user control settings allow studios to run multiple projects in the same Conductor account and determine user access per project. Permissions can be set to auto expire, and authentication through third-party identity systems, such as Okta or GSuite, is supported. Settings can be applied studio-wide, simplifying Conductor integration and providing a unified platform for customization.
  • • Custom encryption capabilities – Studios can implement their own encryption management over submitted data for complete control over intellectual property (IP), in addition to encrypting data via Conductor.
  • • BYOL support – Users with existing creative application licenses supported by Conductor can apply available seats during renders so that studios can lower costs and maximize return on investment.
Conductor Enterprise will be available on a per-studio monthly, or annual, subscription basis. Pricing information has not yet been announced.

Conductor cloud platform supports Linux, Mac and Windows operating systems, and most industry-standard creative applications, including Autodesk 3ds Max, Maya and Arnold; Blender; Maxon’s Cinema 4D and Redshift; Foundry’s NUKE, Cara VR, KATANA, MODO and Ocula; Chaos Group’s V-Ray; Pixar’s Renderman; Isotropix’s Clarisse; Golaem; Bluegfx’s Miarmy; Ephere’s Ornatrix; Boris FX’s Silhouette; and Peregrine Labs’ Yeti.
