The Hollywood Foreign Press Association has announced the movies and TV shows that have been nominated for the 79th annual Golden Globe Awards.
This year, the ceremony, which will be held Sunday, Jan. 9, 2022, will not be televised due to the recent controversy surrounding the lack of diversity within the HFPA, which comprises 87 international journalists who determine the nominees and winners.
During the past several months, the HFPA maintains it has overhauled its bylaws and implemented changes that address ethics, diversity, inclusion and more.
This year, however, submissions were not required for award consideration.
