NASHUA, NH – NextComputing, provider of compact, ultra-high-performance computing solutions, has released a new portable workstation, the Radius EDS.
Users can take advantage of Radius EDS’ small size to maximize space, and it outperforms systems that are much larger and lack portability. It is no longer necessary to utilize hefty desktop towers or multiple hardware implementations to achieve maximum performance. Unique to the Radius EDS is its innovative storage configuration. It provides up to 16 easy-access, removable hard drives equaling 32TB of enterprise-class storage with RAID. Driven by single or dual Intel Haswell E5 v3 CPUs (totaling up to 32 cores), or Intel Core i7, this powerful little machine is ideal for high-performance appliance, product, and service solutions.
The Radius EDS is modular and scalable, and thus, can be adapted to any configuration needed. It contains seven full-length PCI Express 3.0 slots.
