Bellingham, Wa. - Cadalog Inc., maker of SU Podium for Google SketchUp 6 and 7, has announced the 4th Podium render contest, open to anyone with access to a full version of SU Podium. The render contest will enable photorealistic renderings of any type of Google SketchUp model. Images will be judged on creativity, originality, and the ability of the designer to inspire.
The prizes to be awarded include:
1st Prize, a Nikon SLR Digital Camera Model D60.
2nd Prize, an Apple iPod Touch 16GB.
3rd Prize, a Western Digital My Passport 500GB portable hard drive.
Images must be rendered with SU Podium from a SketchUp model. Postprocessing with image editors, such as Photoshop are allowed; however, contestants are required to send the "raw" Podium-generated image with the postprocessed image.

Cadalog, Inc. also announces the availability of the SU Podium 1.6.1 Beta, an updated version of Podium 1.6. Version 1.6.1 includes new wide-screen resolution options, support for SketchUp's parallel projections, and bug fixes. The update to Version 1.6.1 is free for Podium 1.5 or 1.6 users. Podium 1.6.1 Beta runs in both Windows and Mac OS 10.5 operating systems on Google SketchUp 6 or 7.
