Allegorithmic Substance Session

Allegorithmic, a 3D technology company developing advanced texturing tools for real-time 3D content creation, is sponsoring a Substance session during GDC. The session will discuss how Substance, Allegorithmic’s new generation of texturing middleware, is employed in the production and distribution pipelines for next-generation game developers. Being shown for the first time at GDC, Substance provides game developers with a professional set of tools for creating high-quality textures that are generated in real-time to optimize data streaming and create changing environments. The session takes place today, Wed. the 20th, from 12 pm to 1 pm in Room 134.

The session features Dr. Sebastien Deguy, president and founder of Allegorithmic, as well as speakers from NCsoft Europe and industry influencers who have worked with such high-profile publishers as Electronic Arts and Ubisoft Montreal.

In Booth 6533 in the North Hall, Allegorithmic is also demonstrating MaPZone 2.6, its advanced texturing tool for creating lightweight textures, and Namacius, a custom mod developed internally by Allegorithmic for Epic’s Unreal Tournament 3.
