Dennis Hoffman Named Rainmaker Visual Effects' Head of Production

Vancouver, BC - Warren Franklin, CEO of Rainmaker Entertainment Inc., has announced that Dennis Hoffman has joined Rainmaker Visual Effects as head of production.
Hoffman, a veteran visual effects production executive, will report to Brian Moylan, managing director, Rainmaker Visual Effects.

"As Vancouver increasingly becomes a destination for high-end visual effects, Rainmaker is pleased to have someone of Dennis's caliber and experience join us as we move into more demanding and challenging projects," states Franklin.

Brian Moylan adds, "Dennis will be a great addition to our visual effects team. As we engage in more and more complex projects, managing the pipeline and assigning resources becomes a highly sophisticated balancing act and Dennis's expertise and experience will help us to better maneuver."

Hoffman, a 20-year production veteran and most recently vice president/head of production at Digital Domain, began his career in the commercial world at Image G. He subsequently joined Dream Quest Images as a visual effects producer and over a tenure of nine years moved up the ranks to become vice president/executive producer overseeing such films as visual effects Oscar nominees Mighty Joe Young and Armageddon. Hoffman also served as vice president/head of production at Cinesite and did independent stints with Warner Bros., Radium FX and Filmworks/FX, and in Canada, EA and Anthem Visual Effects.
