Avid Technology Partners with Class on Demand to Deliver Training Materials

Hoffman Estates, Ill. - Class on Demand, a provider of professional educational products for creative markets, has announced a partnership with Avid Technology Inc. to deliver Class on Demand training courses via the Avid Web-based training portal: Avid Learning Excellerator (ALEX). 
The partnership will bring about a broad spectrum of media production training for industry professionals and enthusiasts. Class on Demand training offered via ALEX covers a wide range of topics serving students looking to learn a new operating system, such as OS X or Windows Vista, to more complex applications such as compositing and effects creation with Boris Red.

Complete Training for Avid Liquid ($129.95 MSRP)
Class on Demand instructor Tony Terrana provides in-depth training for the new Avid Liquid release. Topics include video and audio editing, DVD authoring, and effects creation -- helping students master all aspects of Avid Liquid.
 
Complete Training for Boris RED 4 ($129.95 MSRP)
Lead by Boris FX power user, Steve Oakley, this title covers the spectrum of the new Boris Red 4.0 features and functionality. Students can learn basics, such as navigating the redesigned Boris Red 4.0 user interface, to more advanced effects concepts such as working with spline objects.
