Levis, Canada - Creaform has signed an OEM agreement of partnership with Z Corporation whereby its Handyscan 3D handheld laser scanner will be commercialized under Z Corp.'s own new brand. Creaform's Handyscan 3D will be sold through Z Corp.'s international distribution channel as the ZScanner 700. The Handyscan 3D is currently used in reverse engineering, design, inspection, measurement, digital mock-up/rapid prototyping, and simulations.

The scanner creates an STL file in real time allowing users to create, manipulate, and modify a 3D model in any CAD application. Both scanners use and share the same technology developed and manufactured by Creaform.
