Maxon Shows Cinema 4D R16 at NAB

MAXON showed off its Cinema 4D R16 for the first time at NAB since it was introduced last fall.
Each day of the show at the MAXON booth, there was an outstanding roster of expert motion graphics, visual effects and visualization professionals who shared insights into their creative approaches and production techniques. These artists showed how Cinema 4D is used in real-world production environments for award-winning feature films, television shows and commercials, video games, and medical/architectural visualization.

Jeremy Cox, Art Director, at Imaginary Forces, a preeminent creative studio and production company in NYC, was among the guest presenters showing the Cinema 4D workflow on the film title designs the studio created for WGN America’s historical drama “Manhattan,” which won the SXSW 2015 Excellence in Title Design Award last month.

MAXON live-streamed NAB guest presentations daily on C4DLive.com. (The list of presenters and daily schedules can be found on www.c4dlive.com.)

MAXON third-party partner Ventuz Technology, a real-time graphics software developer, displayed a new live link between its software suite and Cinema 4D at NAB. This new feature serves for a seamless communication between the two tool sets.

Ventuz now seamlessly communicates with MAXON Cinema4D, allowing for a streamlined workflow for the creation and edition of 3D scenes in Ventuz projects. This workflow features a live link between both applications, which allows artists to make changes in Cinema 4D and get the updated results live inside of Ventuz, even over a local network. Ventuz Technology showed this capability at its exhibit booth # SL9927.
