Blackmagic Design Announces Support for the Next Versions of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects

Blackmagic Design's entire range of desktop video products will support the next generation of professional video editing software from Adobe, including Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.

The integration will be available as a free download from the Blackmagic Design site when these future Adobe products are available.

Adobe's next generation of pro video tools will include powerful new editing timelines and shortcuts and audio mixing with Adobe Premiere Pro and new creative and visual effects tools with Adobe After Effects.

The integration will continue to include Blackmagic Design support for Adobe Mercury Transmit that allows broadcast video monitoring to connect directly into the Adobe Mercury Playback engine that gives an incredible amount of real time effects with any video format and codec.

Blackmagic Design's DeckLink, UltraStudio and Intensity lines will be able to take full advantage of the powerful new features being included in the next versions of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. DeckLink, UltraStudio and Intensity lines include performance capture and playback cards for Mac, Windows and Linux. Including both PCIe and Thunderbolt based technology, these products come in both internal and external models.

The combination of Blackmagic Design's desktop video range and the next version of Adobe's professional video tools will give video editors, post professionals, motion graphics and interactive designers amazing new workflows to create and deliver incredible stories quickly and professionally. With Blackmagic Design capture and playback solutions, customers using Adobe's next generation of pro video tools will be able to capture and work with the highest quality compressed and uncompressed video formats. Video can be captured from decks, cameras, live feeds and other sources for editing, compositing and graphics production.
