Industry Cancellations Due to Coronavirus

In a short period of time, China experienced a crisis as the Coronavirus spread across its country, forcing quarantines there and to other countries soon after. Nightly we have heard the virus dominate the national news – the quarantines, the deaths, the number of infected, etc.

Health experts here in the US continue to warn that it's not a matter of "if" but "when" this bug will wreak havoc across the country. And it is doing just that.

Schools are closed. People are urged or required to stay at home. People are working from home. Theaters are closed. TV and film productions have halted. Movie releases have been postponed.

Some big industry events have been impacted already, and no one knows for sure what impact the virus will have on events this summer. We will keep a running list of conferences and events that are being postponed or canceled, or rescheduled. If you hear of any, let us know at karen@cgw.com so we can add it to this ongoing list in an effort to keep you informed so that you can plan accordingly.

Stay well.
