The Bubba Series
Artist Brian Harris is a graduate student at Mississippi State University. His "Butterfly Series" appeared in the July 1999 Gallery.
His words on the making of the Bubba Series:
These images were created in the same experimental manner as "The Butterfly Series," but the subject matter in these images is my dog, Bubba. Although I did again use small, loose paintings and random photographs to compile these images in Photoshop, my purpose in this series was to create different environments from only one photograph, as opposed to just using completely different pictures, as I did in the "Butterfly Series". The photos or paintings that I used in each piece depended on what kind of mood that I wanted to portray in form (such as organic vs. architectural) and color.
