The images in this month's gallery all come from animations entered in the Prix Pixel-INA competition. The winners of the competition were announced at the Imagina Show in Monaco in February. Sponsored by the Centre National de la Cinematographie (CNC), the competition attracts entries from around the world.
This year's competition attracted 551 works from 21 countries. Out of that, 66 entries were selected for viewing at Imagina. All those who attended the screening of the animations were invited to cast votes, which were then tabulated and used to select one winning entry in each of nine categories: Advertising, Visualization, Games, Fiction, Art, Credits-Content Graphics, Schools and Universities, Special Effects, and Music Video.
