Mac — HumanEyes Technologies has unveiled HumanEyes Capture3D, a 3D software solution designed for use with today's digital cameras. Now available, HumanEyes Capture3D enables users to generate realistic 3D images using data captured with virtually any digital camera. HumanEyes Capture3D also can assemble 2D and 3D photography into a single, seamless image. Additional features include guided optimization of 3D scenes, automatic convergence point control and parallax (depth) control, and support for TIFF, JPEG, and AVI file formats. Win — Shoran Software has released its Ren-derPal 2004 Server Version 1.3, the updated edition of its professional render management system for such renderers as Alias's Maya, Mental Images' Mental Ray, Softimage|XSI, and NewTek's LightWave. Version 1.3 now enables users to monitor and control jobs, as well as render clients, via the RenderPal 2004 Job Submitter.
