Ascension's Nest of Birds Tracker

Nest of Birds comes with one to four sensors that attach to subjects' arms, heads, or bodies, and transmit motion-capture data in real time. The product is also optimized for CAVE environments. Standard coverage range is three by four feet, but an extended range transmitter is also available for coverage of up to 12 by 14 feet. The Nest of Birds is based on DC magnetic tracking technology, which the company claims makes it five times less susceptible to distortions from nearby metals than are older AC magnetic trackers.
