Avid Ships Xpress DV Version 3

The program is available in two configurations. The standard package comes with Avid's compositing software, plus Boris FX LTD for 3D/2D effects, Boris Graffiti LTD for enhanced titling, Sonic DVDit, and Discreet Cleaner EZ for quick export of streaming media files. The PowerPack configuration also has Avid Image Stabilization for correcting camera shake, Avid Filmmakers' Toolkit, Avid Illusion FX Pack, Pinnacle Commotion 4 for paint and rotoscoping, Sonic DVDit SE, and Knoll LightFactory AVX for lens and lighting effects. Avid Xpress DV costs $1699; the PowerPack version costs $2999. Both packages require systems running Windows 2000. Mac specifications will be available later this spring.
