SDRC Intros Freeform Design Tool

At Modaliti in Park City, Utah, product designers have been using FreeForm for various projects, including a new anti-knee-injury ski binding they developed with Line-Ski in Burlington, Vermont. Says David Narajowski, principal consultant with Modaliti, "This is the first time we have worked with a tool that allowed us to directly interact with surfaces, to manipulate them and have real-time feedback. Freeform allows us to make a lot of the little tweaks that make a big difference in the overall de sign." Another factor that made the adoption of Freeform easier was that the product design consulting firm was already using I-deas, adds Narajowski.
