SiteBuilder 3D Converts GIS Data

The speed and ease with which SiteBuilder creates real-time 3D from GIS data are its primary strengths. Ac cording to the company, pre-existing methodologies require some knowledge of 3D software and hours or days of work on the part of users, whereas with SiteBuilder, users unaccustomed to working in 3D can create a real-time 3D view in minutes. All real-time 3D scenes created in SiteBuilder 3D can be exported to MultiGen-Paradigm's products Creator and Vega, or to other programs that support MultiGen-Paradigm's real-time 3D Open Flight file format.

SiteBuilder 3D runs on Windows NT/ 2000 Pentium III-based machines with at least 256mb of RAM and an OpenGL graphics card. The product also requires Version 3.2 or later of ESRI's ArcView GIS software. It costs $1995. (MultiGen-Paradigm; www.multigen-paradigm) -JD
