Ramona, Calif. - Esperient Corp., a developer of 3D authoring tools for visual computing and next-generation Web applications, has announced the release of Esperient Creator 3.0 Community Edition.
Esperient Creator is used by creative media developers in leading manufacturersand service providers -- including Boeing, United Technologies, KBR, Serco, and Lockheed Martin -- for its ability to author interactive 3D visual computing applications.
The software provides an integrated development environment that includes real-time modeling, animation, rendering, and advanced Visual Effects authoring tools, in addition to a freely distributable run time viewer.
The free Community Edition of Esperient Creator 3.0, available for download from www.esperient.com from 1 September, is identical to the full edition except that it has a file limit size of 4MB and is watermarked. In common with the full edition, users of the Community edition will enjoy access to the Esperient Forum and benefit from regular point releases.
Since releasing Esperient Creator 3.0 in May 2008 with revised pricing of just $500 for a 12-month subscription license, the company has released three further point releases and added numerous new improvements.
