AMD Powers Visual Computing Experiences with Industry Leaders

ANAHEIM, CA — AMD is powering visual computing experiences for content creation with industry leaders Adobe, Autodesk, Christie, Dell, and Optis during SIGGRAPH 2013. AMD FirePro professional graphics demonstrations at the annual event feature unique animation, display, simulation, and other creative hardware and software collaborations.

With strong adoption of OpenCL, AMD FirePro graphics have gained positive momentum in the months leading up to SIGGRAPH 2013. Recent highlights and wins for AMD FirePro graphics include:

AMD will conduct two presentations in the Tech Talk theater:

"Real-Time ACES Decoding and AMD FirePro GPU-Enabled RRT/ODT Processing at 4K" on July 23 from 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m., and

"AMD FirePro Technologies for Visual Computing" on July 24 from 11:15 a.m. -12:15 p.m.
