Boxx Partners with Intel on New Motion Media Solution

Austin, Texas - Boxx Technologies has introduced mediaBoxx turnkey motion media systems developed in partnership with the Intel Platform Marketing & Software and Services Groups.
The media Boxx Xtreme is a performance-enhanced, liquid-cooled system capable of reaching 4.5GHz, a 32% increase in speed.

Available with 2nd generation Intel Core i5-2500K or i7-2600K processors, IntelTurbo Boost Technology 2.0, and the Intel Z68 chipset, mediaBoxx includes a host of additional Intel technologies designed to improve speed and performance. Intel Quick Sync Video accelerates decoding and encoding for faster conversion times. Intel Smart Response Technology allows users to store frequently accessed files on the solid-state drives. Professional video images and HD graphics arrive courtesy of Intel Visual Technology, while Intel Smart Cache reduces latency and Intel Rapid Storage enables quick access to media files.

As a turnkey solution, mediaBoxx includes Cyberlink PowerDirector 9, a pre-installed 64-bit video editing software featuring TrueVelocity Technology for faster editing, previewing, and rendering. The software enables filmmakers to directly upload HD quality videos to Facebook or YouTube, and features MediaEspresso, a media universal converter that can transcode video, photos, and music files and then output them to iPad, iPhone, iPod, BlackBerry, and other mobile devices. Via DirectorZone, the software allows users to download more than 100,000 free effects and templates for Blu-ray and HD video projects.
