BlackSky Computing Changes HPC Paradigm at SIGGRAPH

Category: Siggraph
4-Aug-2011
Las Vegas - At SIGGRAPH 2011, BlackSky Computing will debut its line of high-performance computing (HPC) solutions for visual compute-intensive applications, along with the new Apollo storage system, which is optimized for extreme performance, scalability, and space savings.

BlackSky Computing's purpose-built, scalable computing and storage systems are designed to deliver massive performance in a small footprint that can be easily expanded as requirements grow. BlackSky Computing systems addresses time critical project needs requiring very large amounts of compute power and storage in a variety of industries including entertainment (VFX and CGI), aerospace/engineering, life sciences/biotechnology, academia, oil and gas exploration, finance, manufacturing, and defense research.
