Escape Studios and The Mill Launch Online Competition

Escape Studios has launched a new online competition designed to discover the rising stars of computer graphics design in the United Kingdom and United States. The CG Graduate Design Awards is an international competition that, with help from sponsor The Mill, aims to uncover fresh computer graphics talent just graduating from college on both sides of the Atlantic. The winning graduates, one in the U.K. and one in the U.S., will receive a year-long mentored course from Escape Studios and an online “CV clinic” session with top CG recruiters at The Mill. Twenty runners-up, 10 in the U.K. and 10 in the U.S., will also receive a critique of their show reel by a judging panel including Escape Studios’ world-class tutors and industry professionals from The Mill.
The launch of the competition heralds the announcement of Escape Studios’ new mentored learning courses geared towards distance learning. These new online courses offer the same expertise as its renowned classroom lessons, with one-to-one tutorials and mentoring with Escape Studios world-class tutors in its innovative online learning environment. As with all Escape Studios courses, students will also benefit from recruitment advice and help in securing their first job in the industry.
