Be sure to visit the NewTek booth (#337) today at 1 pm. NewTek professionals are scheduled to have celebrity guests William Shatner and Dick van Dyke join them onstage to discuss VFX in Hollywood -- Past, Present, and Future. William Shatner will likely discuss his new MyOuterspace.com social network. Artists are using NewTek’s LightWave and TriCaster to create live sets for the site. Dick van Dyke, a longtime LightWave user, can comment on the creation of visual effects with LightWave for some television shows in which he has starred. NewTek is located in booth 337 on the Exhibition floor.
