During SIGGRAPH 2009, Digital Anarchy is announcing two new plug-ins for video and animation professionals. The Beauty Box, an Adobe After Effects and Apple Final Cut Pro plug-in, smoothes out skin tones, wrinkles, and blemishes. Texture Animator generates animated textures and is designed for motion graphic artists and editors using After Effects or Final Cut Pro. On the exhibit floor, the company is providing a sneak peak at its Texture Animator video filter for creating backgrounds and animated textures using various fractal noise algorithms. The tool has multiple layers of noise that can be mixed together and animated using various methods, and will ship with several hundred presets to make generating backgrounds easy.
