MONTREAL — Award-winning, independent Canadian visual effects studio Rodeo FX is establishing its first on-the-ground presence in London, UK, with the recent hire of executive producer Nina Fallon. Well-known in the VFX industry, Nina made her debut at Industrial Light & Magic in San Francisco over 20 years ago and is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
A key player on some of the UK’s most prestigious projects in visual effects today, Nina’s career has taken her around the world. She was instrumental in helping to establish and grow Rodeo FX in 2006 when she relocated to Montreal from the US to be the studio’s first employee and producer. After many successful productions with Rodeo FX, films such as The Golden Compass and
Terminator: Salvation, she moved to London as a VFX producer at Double Negative and again as an executive VFX producer at Industrial Light & Magic. Her most recent credits include
Aladdin, Rogue One, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, The Martian, Ant-Man, and
Avengers: Age of Ultron
“Nina is laying really important ground work toward our goal of growing a bigger presence in the European film and TV industries,” says Sebastien Moreau, founder and CEO of Rodeo FX. “She’ll be engaging with the myriad of projects happening in and around the UK and working to pull Rodeo FX’s creative talents into their production conversations.” Founded in Quebec, Rodeo FX has studios in Munich, LA, Quebec City, and of course, at its central hub in Old Montreal.
