Eizo Brings New ColorEdge Monitors to NAB

LAS VEGAS — Eizo Corporation (www.eizoglobal.com) is showing their latest monitors at this year’s NAB Show in Las Vegas. The ColorEdge CG319X is a 31.1-inch monitor with DCI-4K resolution and HDR gama support for post production workflows. The monitor is the successor to the CG318-4K and includes several upgrades, including HLG (hybrid log-gamma) and the PQ (perceptual quantization) curve for displaying and editing HDR video content.

The CG319X is equipped with an upgraded built-in calibration sensor that allows the user to continue to operate the unit even during calibration. The built-in sensor eliminates the need for a third-party calibration device.

The monitor’s wide color gamut reproduces 98 percent of the DCI-P3 color space used in the media and entertainment industry. The unit offers a contrast ration of 1500:1 for producing true blacks that are dificult to display on a typical LCD monitor.

Eizo is also showing the new ColorEdge CG279X (pictured), a 27-inch monitor with 2560x1440 resolution and the latest in color management software - ColorNavigator 7. The unit is the successor to the CG277 and comes equipped with HLG and the PQ  curve. Like the CG319X, the 279X has a wide color gamut that reproduces 98 percent of the DCI-P3 color space.

The monitor is equipped with a built-in calibration sensor. ColorNavigator 7 allows users to regularly calibrate and quality control their monitor quickly and reliably.
