The Visual Effects Society has selected its 2015 board of directors, with Mike Chambers elected as board chair. He follows Jeffrey Okun, who held the position for six one-year terms.
In addition to Chambers, the 2015 officers of the VES Board of Directors include: First Vice Chair, Nancy St. John; Second Vice Chair, Richard Winn Taylor II; treasurer, Bob Coleman; and secretary, Rita Cahill.
Chambers is an independent visual effects producer and freelance VFX consultant, specializing in large-scale feature-film productions. He has contributed to the visual effects efforts on many Academy and BAFTA award-winning films.
