NAB 2015 Expands Floor Space

WASHINGTON, DC – NAB Show, the world’s largest gathering of vendors driving the future of media and entertainment, announced that the show floor has expanded to over one million net square feet of exhibit space, with 244 companies exhibiting for the first time.
The exhibition will feature new products and next-generation technologies displayed through interactive exhibits, live demonstrations and technology-focused pavilions. NAB Show, held April 11-16 (exhibits open April 13-16) at the Las Vegas Convention Center, is the annual conference and expo for professionals who create, manage and distribute entertainment across all platforms.
The 2015 NAB Show’s 244 first-time exhibitors will join a wide variety of NAB Show’s exhibiting veterans.

"Hitting the one million mark on exhibit floor space is a testament to NAB Show’s continued relevance in an age of rapid advances in technology and change for media and entertainment," said NAB Executive Vice President of Conventions and Business Operations Chris Brown. "Our growth is reflective of NAB Show's ability to adapt and deliver fresh perspectives on the industry's most innovative companies and cutting-edge technologies."

The 2015 NAB Show will comprise 1,700+ companies, including 650 international exhibitors, and some of the world's leading brands and companies, including Avid, Blackmagic Design, Canon U.S.A. Inc., Cisco, Dell, GoPro, Grass Valley (A Belden Brand), Hewlett-Packard, Hitachi, IBM, INTEL, JVC, Red Digital Cinema, and more.

Also on the exhibit floor this year, the SPROCKIT program will once again feature a pavilion showcasing a unique collection of 30 market-ready startup companies positioned to transform the media and entertainment industry. The new Aerial Robotics and Drone Pavilion, presented in partnership with the Drone Media Group, will be located in the South Upper Hall and will feature dozens of aerial robotics companies, a flying cage, demonstration area and daily sessions.

New education offerings on the show floor include Post|Production Campus, presented in partnership with Future Media Concepts. This learning and networking area of the Show floor will feature 30-minute sessions, presented by certified instructors and noted editors as well as “Ask the Expert” stations and daily raffles.
