January Conference To Look At 'Storage For Next 5000 Years'

LAS VEGAS — The Fifteenth Annual Storage Visions Conference will take place in Las Vegas at the Luxor Hotel Convention Center on January 4th and 5th, 2016 at the Luxor Hotel Convention Center in Las Vegas. Playing up the venue’s Egyptian motif, the conference will take on a “Storage for the Next 5,000 Years” theme.
The Storage Visions Conference brings together digital storage oriented people from diverse industries, including consumer electronics, general business, health care, high performance computing and media and entertainment. Coughlin Associates, Quantum, SNIA, SNIA SSSI, HDDFA, and RDC are initial sponsors of the event, which is currently seeking speaker submissions as well as submissions for its Storage Visions Visionary awards.

Speaking submissions will be accepted through September 14th (http://www.storagevisions.com/2016Call_for_Presentations.htm). The conference’s preliminary agenda can also be seen online ( http://www.storagevisions.com/2016Agenda.htm). And the deadline for Storage Visions Visionary awards submissions is November 14th ( http://storagevisions.com/2016Awards.htm). 

The 2016 Storage Visions Conference will include special SNIA tutorials the afternoon before the conference, as well as SNIA and SNIA SSSI exhibits and demonstrations in the exhibit area showing some emerging storage standards and representing break-through technologies going from solid state devices, NVMe, long term data retention and cloud storage.
