The German trade magazine Digital Production is accepting submissions from digital artists for the 2015 animago awards competition. Deadline to enter is June 30 at www.animago.com.
More than 1,000 submissions in 2014 were sent from 67 different countries – a great recognition for the project. The animago award is now firmly established. Last year, the animago once again reflected a fantastic range of themes that showcased not only the inspiring creativity of the artists but also their outstanding technical performance and skills in the main topics of 3D animation and stills, visual effects and visualization.
Creatives from all over the world submitted projects, like classic product designs or photorealistic images as well as visual effects from Hollywood blockbusters or virtual worlds with interactive possibilities for the audience.
Participation is free of charge and is for both professionals and newcomers. Individuals who send in their productions are not just subjecting their work to the vote of the independent jury; they are also taking advantage of the opportunity to showcase their abilities within the industry. The ceremonial animago Award gala will be October 15, 2015 at the Potsdam-Babelsberg Media City and is the climax of the two-day animago Awards and Conference.
