The Foundry Introduces Collectives

The Foundry is known for its range of products that are used extensively in the industry. Now, the company is making it easier and more cost effective for studios and artists to add more products from The Foundry into their workflow, making the process more efficient and collaborative.

To this end, The Foundry is offering two types of product Collectives, streamlined content creation packages that contain a number of creative tools from The Foundry and designed to give artists and designers exactly what they need, without extra baggage.

The Production Collective contains the Nuke compositor; Modo for 3D content creation (modeling, animation, sculpting, effects, and rendering); Mari for 3D painting; and Hiero, a collaborative shot management, conform, edit, and review tool.

According to The Foundry, the Production Collective will enable artists working across multiple disciplines to benefit from the complete tool set in the Collective, with the aim of increasing efficiency, productivity, and collaboration opportunities.

The Creative Collective, geared to creative professionals, offers digital 3D visualization, modeling, animation, painting, playback, and integration in a single license. In addition to Modo and Mari, the package includes Hiero Player, a desktop playback, edit, and review tool.
