Next Limit Technologies, after months of development and testing, has released RealFlow 2013, out-of-the-box fluid sim software.
RealFlow is a stand-alone, particle-based fluid and dynamics simulator used to simulate fluids, water surfaces, fluid-solid interactions, rigid bodies, soft bodies, and meshes.
New in the 2013 release is Hybrido 2, a large-scale solver for things like floods or oceans with breaking waves. Also, it contains a node-based setup and built-in previews. The new release also contains Alembic support.
The RealFlow Standard commercial licenses are priced the same as before at $3995, while the Learning Edition price has been reduced from $245 to $99.
