Polhemus Sees Major Changes

A pioneer in motion-measurement technology, Polhemus experiences management buyout and ownership change.

COLCHESTER, VTPolhemus, a privately held, premier motion measurement technology company, has changed ownership. Polhemus President Skip Rodgers has  added co-owner to his title effective December 31, 2012. Skip Rodgers purchased shares from former co-owner, Ken Jedrzejewski, prompted by Jedrzejewski's announcement to retire. Jedrzejewski leaves behind 35 years of service to Polhemus, with over 10 years as a company owner. Al Rodgers remains as co-owner and maintains his role as CEO.

The shift in ownership brings no change in business focus. As the industry experts

Skip Rodgers issued a statement after the agreement was finalized. "Polhemus is positioned well for future success; the diversity of our markets gives Polhemus a broad spectrum of opportunities for continued revenue growth. As with the last ten years, continuing as a privately held company gives us a great advantage—to remain adaptable and react quickly to the market. Al and I are proud to be leading such a great company."
