HP Unveils V 6.0 of its Remote Graphics Software

PALO ALTO, CA – HP has announced a complete redesign of its HP Remote Graphics Software (RGS), which enriches remote access of the most demanding workstation applications, and reduces network bandwidth requirements by at least half.

Shipped for free on all HP Z and EliteBook Mobile Workstations, HP RGS enables real-time collaboration between multiple users simultaneously and provides remote access to a workstation with little to no loss of performance. 

Designed to support demanding professional graphics heavy applications, RGS 6.0 boasts fast response time and top visual fidelity; a significant reduction of network bandwidth usage for RGS connections, bringing seamless HP workstation access and collaborative capabilities to new devices and networks; increased reach of remote workstation access; improved WAN performance; and a redesigned user interface. HP RGS supports Linux, Microsoft Windows, OpenGL and DirectX.
