Continuing the success of its InertiaCube family of sensors, InterSense has released the InertiaCube4.

The company has improved on price, performance, and size, as the InertiaCube4 utilizes the latest in MEMS technology and calibration algorithms for a full 360-degree sourceless orientation tracking.

The InertiaCube4 offers better performance over its predecessors while minimizing size and price. It is ideal for real-time applications in simulation and training, virtual and augmented reality, motion capture, and human movement analysis.

Designed for high-volume applications, the sensor, priced at $995, is now available as a Serial or direct USB interface. An OEM version of the sensor is available for direct integration into a device.
