Columbia, S.C. - Interactive Data Visualization has released Version 6 of SpeedTree Cinema, as well as SpeedTree Studio, a new product based on Cinema.
Both SpeedTree Cinema and SpeedTree Studio include SpeedTree Modeler Version 6, which delivers modeling control, workflow improvements, FBX export customization, and more realistic wind.
"The functionality of version 6, coupled with the streamlined SpeedTree Studio offering, means virtually everyone who needs virtual trees will find what they need with SpeedTree," says IDV President Michael Sechrest. "Architects, animators, high-end cinematographers, and serious hobbyists can try out the software for free and license to their exact requirements."
SpeedTree Cinema continues to sell at $4,995 for a floating license and includes all members of the SpeedTree Model Library. With licenses priced at $895 per seat, SpeedTree Studio includes five basic models, but users who want additional trees from the Model Library may purchase them individually online.
