Smith Micro Software Introduces Anime Studio Debut 8

Aliso Viejo, Calif. - The Smith Micro Software Inc. Productivity and Graphics Group has released Anime Studio Debut 8, an animation program designed to deliver multiple professional-quality features in an easy-to-use format. Anime Studio Debut 8 provides a full-featured experience that simplifies the process and enables the production of high-quality animations with little instruction.
"Animation has the unique ability to communicate the joy, sorrow, laughter, and adventure that live action can't always convey," says Dave Gibbons, Watchmen co-creator and well-known comic book artist. "I've used Smith Micro's graphics solutions for many years. Products like Anime Studio provide fun, easy-to-create tools that let you add life to your storytelling and make character animation a breeze."

Anime Studio Debut 8 offers a new Automatic Image Tracing feature that converts any paper drawing into ready-to-animate vector art in one click. The built-in Character Wizard feature allows for fast character creation. Novice artists can also use the Beginner's Mode, a tool that guides first-time animators through key tools and techniques with short video tutorials, roll-over instructions, and a streamlined interface.

Anime Studio Debut 8 is valued at $49.99. Current Anime Studio Debut users can upgrade to Anime Studio Debut 8 for $19.99. Users can also upgrade to Anime Studio Pro 8 for $129.99.
