TransMagic Achieves Certified Gold Status from SolidWorks

Westminster, Colo. - TransMagic PowerPack from TransMagic Inc., developer of 3D CAD data exchange software, has achieved Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks Corp.’s Gold Product Certification. Gold Product Certification signifies quality and value for users of SolidWorks software and enables seamless collaboration across SolidWorks user company divisions. The TransMagic PowerPack for SolidWorks combines SolidWorks design capabilities with the TransMagic multi-CAD tool set.
With the PowerPack installed, CATIA, JT, and other files can be imported and exported seamlessly from SolidWorks software, helping eliminate barriers to collaboration. TransMagic’s CAD Repair technology automatically fixes many errors. Another aspect of TransMagic’s PowerPack is the ability to save files into specific versions of key formats, such as CATIA or JT.

With TransMagic XL-64 (64-bit), massive assemblies can be imported from different 3D CAD applications, modified in SolidWorks software, and saved in formats needed by other team members. The single-window integration with SolidWorks software eliminates the need for additional applications to address interoperability issues.

TransMagic supports all major CAD formats, including CATIA, JT, UG/NX, Pro/E, and more. In addition, TransMagic can export files into several useful non-CAD formats, such as STL, OBJ, PLY, HSF, PDF, and HTML.
