Autodesk has also announced the Autodesk Civil Visualization Extension, composed of Autodesk Dynamite VSP and Dynamite SIM technology for 3ds Max Design software previously valued at US $4200. The extension also includes the Dynamite VSP Exporter for AutoCAD Civil 3D software. This extension will put automated, easy-to-use visualization capabilities into the hands of many civil engineers for the first time. It establishes a dynamic link between 3ds Max Design and Civil 3D, allowing civil engineers to integrate visualization into the design process, even those without detailed knowledge of 3ds Max Design.
The Autodesk Civil Visualization Extension is available only to Autodesk 3ds Max Design and AutoCAD Civil 3D Subscription customers. The product is not sold separately.
Autodesk anticipates that Autodesk Civil Visualization Extension will be available in English during April 2010. Autodesk Subscription is available for purchase simultaneously with the product or upgrade purchase for US $495 suggested retail price per year.
