Amsterdam, Netherlands – Nvidia will offered broadcast and film production professionals an opportunity to see how the world looks in a new dimension, showcasing its new Nvidia Quadro Digital Video Pipeline, a turnkey production workflow system which dramatically simplifies and accelerates the production of live 3D broadcasts, including an integral new component of the Pipeline—Nvidia 3D Vision Pro glasses for enabling live, 3D stereoscopic production workflow, at full resolution, at each stage of the production pipeline.
The Nvidia Quadro Digital Video Pipeline incorporates new Quadro graphics processing units (GPUs) based on the Nvidia Fermi architecture, delivering enhanced graphics processing and visual effects simulation, with performance that is up to five times faster for 3D applications.
New capabilities the Digital Video Pipeline include: Real-time 3D graphics insertion; 3D encoding; 3D video streaming over the Internet, and; 3D video editing with Adobe Premiere Pro Creative Suite 5 and the CineForm Neo3D plug-in.
