Globalstor Data, Silverado Systems Build Workstations

Folsom, Calif. - Globalstor Data Corp. and Silverado Systems have joined forces to build workstations, incoroporating Intel hardware, for users of Assimilate Scratch, Adobe Creative Suite 4, and other media applications.
"We provide solutions for digital cinema and broadcast. We own two Red cameras, sell Apple hardware for Final Cut Studio users, and have been selling Assimilate Scratch for the past year," says Torrey Loomis, president and CEO of Silverado. "One of the missing pieces to our equation was an industry-proven Intel platform to run Windows-based applications. With our alliance with Globalstor, we've established a partnership to provide the best Windows-based machines with an unmatched level of critical hardware support for our customers."

David Leif, sales manager at Globalstor, says, "Silverado was one of the first resellers to aggressively pursue the RED workflow for digital cinema customers. They've built up a tremendous amount of experience and we are thrilled to be able to work jointly with Silverado to provide the world's best hardware solutions for our customers."

Intel systems from Silverado engineered by Globalstor are available for ordering immediately. Systems can be custom configured with Nvidia Quadro FX cards for Scratch and Quadro CX cards for Adobe Creative Suite 4.
