Blackmagic Design Updates Software with Support for Adobe Creative Suite 4

San Jose, Calif. - Blackmagic Design Inc. released a new Windows-based software update of its video editing products, including all Multibridge, DeckLink, and Intensity models. This new Blackmagic Design Version 7.0 software update, now available at no charge on the Blackmagic Design Web site, adds support for Adobe Creative Suite 4.
Version 7.0 software update for Blackmagic Design DeckLink, Multibridge, and Intensity products adds support for Adobe Creative Suite 4 Production Premium as well as Premiere Pro 4.0.1 for Windows XP, Windows XP x64, Windows Vista, and Windows Vista 64 platforms.

Blackmagic Design's new v7.0 software update is designed to deliver a simplified workflow with better broadcast-quality video support as well as tighter integration between Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop. Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 support also includes Blackmagic Design's custom RS422 support for Insert and Assemble-to-tape so that customers can output their projects back to professional broadcast VTRs with frame accurate precision.

DV 4:3 and 16:9 capture and playback support
All new Edit To Tape interface in Premiere Pro
After Effects real-time preview up to 2K 4:4:4 resolutions
Photoshop export support up to 2K 4:4:4 resolutions

Blackmagic Design's DeckLink, Multibridge, and Intensity products take full advantage of Premiere Pro's comprehensive range of workflows for DV, HDV and HD.Blackmagic Design video capture product also support multiple file formats such as uncompressed 8 bit, uncompressed 10 bit, AVI, QuickTime, MJPEG, HDV and DV all on the same timeline and in the same project file.
