AJA Ki Pro Wins Awards at NAB 2009

Grass Valley, Calif. - AJA Video Systems, a manufacturer of professional video interface and conversion solutions, has launched its Ki Pro portable digital disk recorder, which won four industry awards during its debut at NAB 2009.
Ki Pro records files to the Apple ProRes 422 codec directly from camera, allowing filmmakers, broadcasters, video professionals, and prosumers to skip the process of re-rendering to an editing codec by giving immediate access to 10-bit full-raster, edit-ready Apple ProRes 422 files.

At NAB, Ki Pro won the Broadcast Engineering Pick Hit Award, the DVBlack Diamond Award, the TV Technology Star Award, and the Videography Magazine Vidy Award. Products awarded are selected by a panel of industry experts, engineers, and journalists based on the most innovative new technologies introduced at the annual NAB conference.

A global road show in support of the Ki Pro launch will be kicking off on May 28, 2009, hitting 23 cities across Asia Pacific, Europe, and North and South America.
