Eyeon Launches Generation World Tour

Toronto, Canada - Eyeon is going on the road to celebrate one of the largest tours in the history of the company. Company officials will visit cities across the globe for the next few months to showcase the new Generation Family of Products, together with the soon-to-be released Fusion 6.
Generation is a family of products designed for, and specifically integrated with, eyeon's current highly-integrated VFX applications; eyeon Generation delivers timeline editing with up to 4K disk-based playback, with 20 years of Fusion compositing development.

The Generation workflow integrates and collaborates with all eyeon products, as well as removes the interoperability bottleneck with other products. Generation Suite sits at the head of the Generation product line, managing and administering projects from a few artists to thousands of artists, in a single facility or spread across multiple international sites.

Generation Suite is a fully-integrated compositing, editing, versioning, and collaboration system designed to be the master suite in a film or broadcast pipeline. Generation Suite contains all the compositing tools available in eyeon’s award-winning Fusion, with seamless interoperability and full timeline editing.

This versioning collaboration system brings together shots from the entire project. The comprehensive annotation system provides accurate communication of shots or the timeline. Generation Studio contains all the editing, versioning, annotation, and collaboration tools found in Generation Suite. Generation Studio is designed to augment Fusion pipelines by expanding them toward a Generation workflow. Generation Studio allows supervisors and artists to work together on a project by adding the ability to edit multiple shots and create version histories. Generation Studio integrates seamlessly with Generation Suite, Generation Player, and eyeon Fusion.

Generation Player is the everyday workhorse of the Generation product line. Adding Generation Player to any current Fusion pipeline, or into multiple departments such as 3D, lighting, and animation, instantly gives artists access to a Generation project. Generation Player can open any part of a project version history and insert the current version created to view. This gives Fusion artists, and every member of the team, the ability to play back alongside the latest version of the project. Generation Player also contains all the collaboration and annotation tools in the Generation family.

Together with Generation, eyeon will be showing all that is new in Fusion, with a review of the industry-acclaimed key Fusion highlights.
