Amherst, N.Y. - ATTO Technology Inc., provider of storage connectivity and infrastructure solutions for data-intensive computing environments, announced that CA Inc. has certified ATTO's Virtual Tape hardware, the FastStream VT 5300 and FastStream VT 5700, for use with its CA ARCserve Backup software.
CA ARCserve Backup allows customers to easily incorporate ATTO's FastStream Virtual Tape appliances into their backup environment.
When paired with off-the-shelf disk storage systems, FastStream VT appliances allow customers to add high-performance virtual tape to their existing infrastructure. With FastStream's user-friendly configuration options, users can integrate the virtual tape appliance into an existing environment without the need to change backup software, policies, or procedures.
